This camp is a hands-on introduction to video scene setups and digital photography. Campers will not only explore the importance of camera angles, shot sizes, and movements, but also gain practical skills in using Go-Pros®, gimbals, and DJI drones. They will discover the aesthetics of visual arts by telling a story through still images and short clips, and create a digital, non-narrative work portfolio by learning key cinematography concepts, including composition, lighting, color, and framing.

Teens explore woodworking! Woodworker Aleya Lanteigne welcomes teens for a week of skill-building in the woodshop! This camp introduces Teens to woodworking basics, properties of wood and machine safety while designing and completing one or two projects, dependent on the pace of each student. We invite Teens into our woman-run woodshop to learn shop safety and how to use machines such as the bandsaw, scroll saw, spindle sander and drill press. A mix of techniques will be explored.

San Diego Adventure Camp offers a premium day camp experience for kids ages 5 to 12 years old. Camp hours are 9am-3pm – all attendees must register for the sessions they want to attend. We have early drop-off (as early as 7:30am) and late pick-up (as late as 6pm) available as needed for $25/hour per child, or unlimited extended care for $179 per week. For extended care, drop-off and pick up is located at the Plunge Front Entrance prior to 8:45am and after 3:15pm.

Established in 2010, Wildlife Camps at the Living Coast offer day camps for students in grades Pre-K through 6th. Located in the beautiful city of Chula Vista, CA, the camp is situated at the Living Coast Discovery Center, a nonprofit zoo and aquarium located on the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife.
