Outside The Lens

For more than 20 years, students have benefitted from arts-integrated programming in classrooms, community centers, and alternative learning sites. Outside the Lens also offers after-school programs, workshops, and summer camps.

San Diego Art Camp

Children will be taking ceramics + painting/drawing + photography class every day and will also walk around the balboa park daily. Dance and music is planned twice a week for two hours.

Touching the Art

These 40-minute art appreciation lessons are designed for children ages 7-12. During the lessons we will immerse ourselves into the story of a wonderful artwork. We'll use our imagination and our thinking skills to figure out what is happening. And, then, we'll understand a little bit more about ourselves by empathizing with the characters.
