The mission of Outside the Lens is to amplify the voices of youth facing systemic disadvantages through the media arts, encouraging self expression, learning, and civic engagement.

For more than 20 years, students have benefitted from arts-integrated programming in classrooms, community centers, and alternative learning sites. Outside the Lens also offers after-school programs, workshops, and summer camps.
