Science Clubs provide a unique opportunity for children ages 10–14 to engage in exciting learning experiences and develop their scientific curiosity. Our Science Clubs cover a wide range of fields, including biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science, physics, and robotics, to name a few. Each session is carefully crafted to build your child's knowledge and confidence, all while having a blast.
Embark on a guided front-of-house tour at Birch Aquarium, where you'll discover the fascinating marine life of the Western Pacific. Our expert educator will share intriguing facts about the unique animals that call this region home, highlight ongoing conservation efforts and answer all your questions along the way! Please note, that this tour does not include any behind-the-scenes access. This tour is free with admission, but advanced sign-ups are recommended. For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.
