Empowering voices of today | Cultivating leaders of tomorrow Southern California Vocal Association (SCVA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional organization for choral music educators in the Southern California area. The organization was established in 1939 by several prominent Los Angeles area choral conductors to support choral conductors and advance vocal music in Southern California. The Mission of SCVA is: To support and encourage high standards in vocal music education; To provide and promote events which encourage and further choral music education at all grade levels; To support choral music educators through professional development and networking opportunities; To support appropriate legislation which affects vocal music education at all levels of government; To communicate accomplishment of these objectives to the profession and public through various media.cal Association today!
Kids in Grades 2 - 6 or between the ages of 8 to 12 can participate in the San Diego KIDS ALL SING, Choral Workshop, and Concert - no audition, no preparation, simply enjoy learning to sing in a choir and have fun!
