Rising star Alexander Malofeev performs Prokofiev’s demanding *Piano Concerto No. 3*, originally written for the composer’s U.S. tours in the 1920s and 1930s. The program also features the World Premiere of Billy Childs’ *Concerto for Orchestra*, followed by Beethoven’s *Eroica* Symphony, a groundbreaking work known for its vast orchestral sound and powerful themes of human evolution and liberty.
