The Museum's Makerspace - Painted Object Design Challenge

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 02/13/2023
The Innovators LAB targets families with children ages 6-13 and provides opportunities to experiment with a variety of ideas, materials and hands-on techniques. During this program kids will help us design our new Painted Object! This spring we’re replacing the painted Flower Truck in Paint Studio with a new life-size sculpture created by artists Marisol Rendón and Ingram Ober and designed by kids! Through this design challenge, kids (ages 6-13) will use their imagination to draw and build a model sculpture out of recycled materials. We’ll then choose one child’s design to be our next Painted Object!
