Littles Preschool Craft & Cooking Summer Camp

Ages 4-6 years welcome! Does your little one love to help in the kitchen and craft? Let us clean up the mess! This summer, open their world to exploring the bounty of local, farm to table ingredients and how those foods got from the ground to our plates with local culinary arts instructors from Sticky Fingers Cooking. When kids aren’t in the kitchen-classroom, they’ll be learning to craft using traditional materials with San Diego Craft Collective instructors with a variety of fun projects!

Let your little one become a chef through nourishing food preparation!

Let us clean up the mess! This summer, open their world to exploring the bounty of local, farm to table ingredients and how those foods got from the ground to our plates with local culinary arts instructors from Sticky Fingers Cooking. Did you know that carrots can improve your eyesight, and cherries can help improve your memory? Young chefs will also learn about a rainbow of healthy, veggie-forward ingredients that are healthy for the body. We’ll explore through fun recipes how delicious they can taste, while practicing basic cooking skills and techniques! Read more below for specific week itineraries!

June 2 – 4 from 9am – 12pm: Global Tastebuds
Pack your aprons, young chefs, because we’re going on a world tour—no passport required!
Get ready to whip up delicious dishes from every corner of the globe, while exploring the rich history, culture, and flavors behind each recipe. From Europe to Africa to South America, we’ll savor every bite as we explore food, geography, and languages along the way. Let’s turn the kitchen into an international adventure—who’s ready to taste the world?

June 23 – 25 from 9am – 12pm: Baking Boot Camp
Attention, future master bakers!
Ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of baking? From hand pies to zesty lemon tarts and crumbly scones, young chefs will whip up a delicious storm of both sweet and savory treats. Get set for a hands-on adventure that’s as fun as it is tasty—where every recipe is a recipe for success! Let’s make dough rise and let imaginations soar in this delightful baking boot camp!

It’s important that your child bring water in a refillable bottle. We’ll prepare a snack during camp. Easy peasy for you! In addition, if your child is enrolled in a nearby camp elsewhere in Liberty Station in the afternoon, and their camp begins as ours ends, we are happy to walk your child to their next camp. 

These camps are for children ages 4-6 years old!
