Hand Building 1 - Lux Art Institute

Learn the basics of hand-building with an emphasis on surface decoration. Using different methods of building, (coil, tile, etc.) student will learn to make functional forms (dishes, cups, and pitchers) as well as sculptural forms. Weekly Demos will be given on different techniques, however the students are encouraged to make their works of art. Hands on instruction is provided in small class sizes.

Glazes, firing cost, and one 25lbs. bag of clay are included. No outside clay. Additional bags of clay are available for $20. Limit four bags of clay per course. 11 Students - Open to all skill levels.
