GiGi's Playhouse San Diego, Down Syndrome Achievement Center

Sea, sun, and waves…all it was missing was a GiGi’s Playhouse! Now, San Diego has it all. The city of San Diego even proclaimed April 7th 2018 as GiGi’s Playhouse Day!​ Now that we are open, we are offering FREE educational, therapeutic, and career building programs to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. We hope to become a safe place were all are welcome, from pre-natal to adults! We want to empower individuals and families to reach their highest potential. GiGi’s Playhouse’s research-based curriculum works towards advancing literacy, math skills, gross and fine motor skills, improving low muscle tone, building self-esteem, preparing for the workforce and more while fostering acceptance, awareness and networking resources for parents, siblings and the community – all FREE of charge.
