Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad has served well over 50,000 youth since it opened its doors in 1952 as the Carlsbad Boys Club. Our programs promote and enhance the development of Carlsbad's youth by instilling a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness, and influence. Many of the Club’s alumni, countless of whom still reside in the City of Carlsbad, say the Club was a critically important factor in their success and for some, they claim it helped save their life.
Our programs promote and enhance the development of Carlsbad's youth by instilling a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness, and influence. No child is ever turned away due to inability to pay. We have an open-door policy, and we offer young people a safe place to explore and call their own. We are here to support, guide, inspire and make a positive impact on the young people we serve. We believe in Safety, Respect, Leadership, Teamwork, Inclusion and FUN!
