Bernardo Winery

Located 25 miles north of downtown San Diego, in the quiet town of Rancho Bernardo, lies one of the best-kept secrets in the county, and a slice of San Diego history. We have a tasting room, village of unique shops, restaurant, coffee house, beautiful gardens and plenty of open space to enjoy. Family owned for three generations, the Rizzo family still produces wines at the Bernardo Winery using San Diego grapes. The winery has transitioned over the years from the early production and growing style established in San Diego by the missionaries to family heritage roots, producing Italian varietals as well as Spanish and French varietals. Our wines are dry climate style wines well suited for the San Diego Terrior.
