Mondays, January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 9, from 6-8:30pm, with the last class of the series from 6-9pm
Ages 15+ welcome! In this 5-week series, students will learn the basics of handbuilding to create functional pieces with an emphasis on decorative techniques. Working with mid fire clay, we will explore various methods of building forms and decorative techniques with underglazes, slips, glaze, and various experimental materials.
All materials provided. Additional materials available via the instructor for a fee.
We recommend that each student bring an apron to wear and an older towel or a cloth rag.
