Create your own functional pottery!
Sundays, November 15, 22 & December 6, 1-3pm
Beginners welcome! Ages 18+ welcome! Come learn and practice the basics of handbuilding and develop a better understanding of clay as an artistic medium. Learn how to hand build a variety of ceramic vessels (cup, mug, plant pot) with Instructor Aleah Crump, a local artist who specializes in ceramics and functional objects. On the last day of class, students will explore glazing technique to finish their projects. Come to the workshop with good vibes and be ready to get a little messy! This class is great for beginners with little to no experience, or intermediate students who are interested in refining their handbuilding techniques.
All materials are provided, and you’ll get to take home your handmade creations after they’re fired and ready for pick-up in 3-4 weeks.
