VIRTUAL CAMP: Bridge the Math Gap! (ages 12-14) (ONLINE)

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 09/04/2020
Are you frustrated with Math? Things just aren't making sense? Not sure you're going to make it through Math next year? Well, here's the camp for you! In this virtual summer camp, we will review some of the “sticky” topics in high-school Math, from integers, to fraction operations, to basic algebra, and graphing skills. Let's build your confidence and an understanding of Math into a subject that makes sense.

Camp Goals and Objectives:

Guide students to have a narrative of sense-making when solving problems; explain topics in different ways, including visuals; introduce students to some useful online tools; create a safe emotional space for students to ask questions and examine their mindset around mathematics

Special Note for Parents:

This is an online camp that will be run synchronously (live) with our teacher via Zoom.
