Seed saving has been a practice carried down through generations of farmers and backyard gardeners that ensures the historic preservation of varieties and strains of crops, as well as the viability of crop varieties adapted to succeed in the local microclimate. Learn best practices when drying, processing, and bagging seeds for long term storage and use, as well as how to test viability of saved seeds through germination testing.
