Encinitas Holiday Parade

The City of Encinitas is happy to announce that the Encinitas Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 2 on Coast Highway 101 from D Street to J Street. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM with a tree lighting ceremony and brief appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard Shops courtyard (between H and I Street on the east side of 101). The parade begins at 5:30 PM.
The Encinitas Holiday Parade Committee is excited to announce the 2023 parade theme is “Traditions of Encinitas”. Living in Encinitas embodies many traditions both historical and trendsetting, from cycling to surfing, gardening to growing, arts to action sports. Join us as we celebrate the many traditions of Encinitas.
Applications are available to enter a group in the parade so gather your group and get signed up! We encourage our parade entries to go all out with creativity, showcasing your favorite “Traditions of Encinitas”. Application can be found online or at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department office at City Hall. Discounted entry fees are available if you register before October 31.
