Balboa Park House of Norway

The House of Norway has been celebrating Norwegian tradition since it's inception after the world's fair/Panama exposition in San Diego. Our membership is just under 150 people and half of the members are active, meaning they participate in hosting at the cottage as well as are a part of all the events that we have. Here are some: Quarterly Movie Nights, May Lawn Program, 17 Mai celebration, Nordic Nights, Christmas on the Prado and December Nights. We also are good neighbors of the Sons of Norway, Valhall Lodge (lots of Salmon dinners and heritage events) and Sons of Norway Norge Lodge (Viking Festival and Odin Dinner). We welcome anyone who has interest in Norwegian Culture and/or has Norwegian ancestry. Join us for the fun:)
