One in a (half) million

First, I wanted to welcome the 12,000 new readers that have signed up for our weekly newsletter since last Thursday: That's not only the most new signups we've ever had in one week, but on Tuesday one of you put us over the 500,000 milestone of newsletter subscribers coast-to-coast. You don't know who you are, and in fact we don't know who you are... but boy did you generate some rejoicing here in the home office!

TODAY is the last day to vote in our annual survey of the Top 20 Places to Take Kids for local family fun. Would you do me a big favor and vote for your TOP THREE favorites? The organizations that make it to the top positions will be showcased to about 100,000 local families in the next year, so winning a spot is a big deal for them, and voting is an easy way to say thanks for providing great stuff for kids, teens, and families. We want the 2021 rankings to reflect exactly the preferences of our readers—you know best what you love. But this is the ultimate menu of great things to do in your area, so you're also likely to find a bunch of NEW places that are not already on your radar! Each organization has a link to their web site to help you build your summer bucket list with old favorites and new treasures. There are also options in three education categories: Arts education, Sports education, and STEM education. Write-ins are welcome if your favorites aren't already nominated.
